Test Post

Yosele Schumacher, who was at the center of a world famous kidnapping row during his childhood, attended a wedding in Kfar Chabad on Thursday night. The “Yosele” controversy, which occurred fifty years ago, had a profound effect on Israeli society at the time.
Yosele’s grandfather, Reb Nachman Schtroks, was a Torah-observant Jew, and he abducted Yosele from his parents, who were totally secular, so that the child would grow up in a religious environment. At first, all efforts to find him were unsuccessful, and the whole story led to a serious rift between religious and non-religious Israelis. Even the Mossad got involved in the quest to find him, during which even Kfar Chabad was searched. In the end, Yosele was found living in Brooklyn and was returned to his family.
Yosele attended the wedding of his cousins, the Chen family, in Kfar Chabad on Thursday night.
